Our Mission...
Who Are We?
The Arizona Liber Association of Families (AzLAF) is an Arizona-based, homeschooling organization for families, designed to facilitate the Thomas Jefferson Education model through seminars, forums, family events, colloquia, and children's clubs. We believe that the best place for these principles to be applied is in the home.

What is a Thomas Jefferson Education?
The principles we refer to as "Thomas Jefferson Education" (or abbreviated as TJEd) are found in the book A Thomas Jefferson Education: Teaching a Generation of Leaders for the Twenty-First Century by Dr. Oliver Van DeMille, founder of George Wythe University, a liberal arts university. Although we are not officially affiliated with George Wythe University, nor Dr. Oliver DeMille, we do admire and support their efforts.
For a quick place to learn more about TJEd, you can find a full introduction to its principles at The Thomas Jefferson Education Consortium web site located at www.tjed.org.
